Of ALL the numbers I have heard today--this one, IMHO, is the MOST important

42% of Republicans STILL give Bill Clinton a favorable rating.

Think about that one after THAT speech.

for Mr. Obama. They have just as much to lose as we do. I really don't like thinking that their hatred for a black man would make them do something so stupid as to wreck their own retirement savings. I know some do, but I'm betting not all 42% of these people do.

the reasonable ones are drowned out by the crazies.

I think he might have been able to reach some of those that still hold him in favor. That would be devastating to Romney.
