(115,686 posts)You'd think water turning to blood, locusts, frogs, lice, flies, pestilence, boils, hail, darkness and the killing of firstborn children would be enough, but Trump? Please, there's only so much we can be expected to take.

If your god is the dark lord, satan, lucifer, or whatever you may call him, it makes COMPLETE sense!!

Xtians like to say that God has full and absolute control...I don't accept that.

(6,172 posts)Dark ones think the Satans are gods, because they are to them.
And, Trump is a high ranking Satan; probably the 2nd highest ranking Satan on the Earth...I think Putin is #1.
So, in the warped view of the many millions of dark ones in the United States, Trump is a "Son of their god".
In actuality, Trump IS the biblical Father of Lies.
He proves that every day...many times each day.
The dark ones, the Magats, are the servants of Trump, and will support him no matter what.
They have to, since they are lower ranking dark ones than Trump and are thus bound to him. This is why they are so irrational in their support of an obvious lying, cheating, stealing, womanizing, racist, hate-filled, fear mongering, ego driven, narcissist.
He's their guy, and they worship him.

(14,573 posts)I'll go with the father of lies deal. As to the rest, maybe so. Seems like these right wing evangelicals have actually been serving the adversary for decades now.

(27,814 posts)Doesnt every Christian know that Jesus would approve of locking innocent children in cages, withholding food stamps from the hungry, criminalizing the homeless, and denying healthcare to the sick?
Jesuss admonitions to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and care for the sick have no place in the Republican party.
Republican voters have had to choose between the teachings of Christ and the teachings of the GOP and they have made their choice.
