people there refused to shake his hand when he put his hand out there...it was embarrassing for him having to reach down and grab their hand in order to shake their hand. Yikes! I got a feeling that this guy (the PM) is not going to be around much longer (I don't know what this guy did to deserve their anger, but it was so thick you could cut it with a knife)...

My heart goes out to the victims of these fires (as a matter of fact, to all victims of fires, these are not things that you want to wish on anyone (my parents' house burned down in a fire, not a good feeling but at least they got out okay, in time, thank god).

of actual things going on, on the ground.

I suppose the idiot PM will come up w/ some lame excuse later about why these fires were so bad, etc., incompetent firefighters, etc. I wouldn't be surprised. Idiots in the face of all facts will still deny the evidence in front of their f**king faces.

was finally called to assist with the fires just a few days ago. I don't know if that was his decision or not. I do know that in CA we have learned over the years of firefighting that you ask the military for help right away. They not only have the manpower but they have the tools/machinery to fight the fires by dropping water and fire retardants from planes, etc. They should have called the military ASAP.

with his family and when cities were being threatened. Plus name calling of climate activists... not a good look, bad timing. Now that he's made it hoe he thinks he can use these firefighters as political props, they aren't having it.

I hope this goes viral and that every Australian sees it. It gives a slight moment of comfort, while giving major discomfort to PM Scott Morrison. Did he wait until his Hawaii vacation was over before doing what he thought was a great photo op?

As long as the GOP and Tories have power, we will never wake up. We'd rather die of smoke inhalation.
