1. :) Nest of criminal minds, but not exactly masterminds.

We're seeing that the RW jettisoning of intellect and morality, even religious doctrine, in order to achieve their win-at-any-cost goals, is hurting their functioning to the point of appearing like a slow suicide. Intelligence and integrity are survival characteristics. Who knew?

Even if -- only via extensive election theft and foreign interference -- they did manage to establish authoritarian control, the dysfunctional suicide would continue, just along a much longer timeline and grander scale. Not that all of them would survive to its end. How long would it take the various RW power centers, including religious, once given the ability to get away with it, to add murder as an SOP, including of each other?

applying pressure on all fronts. There must be a domino which, once tipped, will cascade and bring them all down.

3. Hopefully. Some dominoes are tipping, we see that, but the

RW powers are doing their lawless, ruthless best to stop a cascade before it gets going. At least most of the press are no longer disbelieving and passive, waiting for others to act. Coconspirators are no doubt in top gear, though.
