I take it that none of Trump's lawyers are paid by taxpayer money, because that was a problem for Bill Clinton. He had NO client-lawyer privilege information because his lawyers were paid by public money.

Wait -- it's the Justice Department's fault. Well I can agree that the OLC's opinions run against the constitution and precedent, but that's not what he's trying to say. He's saying the OLC is more important than the House (and presumably the Senate).

that EVERY President hands out and the Speaker does the same when bills are "enrolled" to be sent to the Senate. The media is rarely there when that happens unless it is a major piece of legislation but it is done pretty much for all of them.

For the smaller pieces of legislation, often the constituents may get one of the pens. They are paid for out of taxpayer money. It's just like the flags that fly over the Capitol. They fly a new one every day and the one from the previous day is given away.

As if her clear descriptions of the difference in normal foreign policy and the Sondland/giuliani/OMB shuffling along of tRump’s agenda is not reflected in the very testimonies of the people they’ve already pulled out of context.

that says the meeting could have occurred either place, but it was an incomplete quote on a slide, not a video clip. I would love to see the rest of the quote to know if she mentioned that the Oval Office meeting was the one that mattered.

All were polite noises with no firm date. Staff requests for WH meetings with firm dates were rebuffed as we heard in testimony.

"It takes time, everyone was busy, there was a hurricane..." Whinging on about a Warsaw meeting when the White House meeting in the Oval Office was the real point.

are much more likely, that given the 'Bolton bombshell' the prospect of calling no witnesses would be ridiculous. He thinks there may be as many as 10 senators who will vote *at least* for Bolton if not more witnesses.

He said there were definite rumblings, and seemed sincere. Interesting.
