I used to live in Venice and it's a pretty responsible neighborhood for the locals that live there TeamPooka Feb 2020 #5

I suspect his politics were far RW as well, but I always liked him as an actor.

Tragic. More pedestrian deaths have occurred nationwide in the past decade than ever before. Yet nothing is being done in most major cities.

RIP, Orson.

but took a wrong turn somewhere. According to Wikipedia, his father was a founding member of the ACLU. And I remember him early in his career as being quite liberal. I didn't follow him closely, but was shocked to discover more recently how right-wing he'd become.

RIP, anyway.

what stands out to me is this: "Both drivers stayed at the scene." That gives me hope.

At a time when I am wondering if my neighbors are people of questionable character like those who have been on display over the past weeks...or the kind of people my children could safely go to and ask for help if needed. I love this answer tonight.

His father was a founding member of the ACLU, and his daughter was married to Andrew Breitbart.
