Maybe there's a different way to break Trump.

Maybe Carville is on to something when he says we need to stop saying how powerful Trump is.

King! Most powerful! He's being lauded for his strength on all sides.

Maybe the key to breaking him is to focus on his weaknesses and to ALLOW him to wallow in his grievances.

Give him pity. Lay it on really thick.

Oh...he's being used by Stephen Miller and Jared and Pence and so many others to get what THEY want...

...while he lives this miserable life of investigations and attacks and constant grief.

Everyone is using him! And laughing behind his back!

He left his great life in NYC to be used and abused every day in Washington. He could trust his friends then, and he was free to do as he wished.

His health has suffered, his mood is black, and he's getting deeper and deeper into a grand mess because others are USING HIM. Even his family, who get what they want while he pays the price, the enormous price.

Talk about his weaknesses. List all of the investigations that have happened because people have betrayed him/used him. Jeff Sessions, etc. etc. etc.

Talk about ANYTHING except strength.

Drive a wedge between him and those who he thinks are on his team. We know how fast a narcissist will jettison someone he no longer trusts.

Get my drift?

We were on vacation in the States in July 2016, and the first thing she said was, "why is Trump all over the media and not Hillary?"

She was amazed at how the media (not Fox Noise, which we did not watch), was broadcasting Trump speeches in their entirety and 20 second snips of anything Hillary had to say. She told me to watch out and temper my optimism, because the media IS the message, and if the population hears Trump 24/7, that's who too many of them will vote for.

It's no different than cereal advertising. If you see 100 ads for Cheerios and 3 ads for Cocoa Puffs, you will buy Cheerios. That is exactly what happened.

Ignore Trump, and you do to him what the revelation of 1000 scandals can never do. Besides, it's not like he ever has anything new to say anyhow, even on those rare occasions when it IS coherent.

It's just so easy to piss him off.

I'm really thinking about crossing over and voting on the Michigan publican ballot. Doesn't look like any down ballot Dems running and I can still vote for school funding. I know, from experience, that the other side will be crossing over to vote for Sanders as they think he will be an easy target for tRump. That's fine with me, I'm good any Dem winning our primary. But, I also know how pissed he'll be if any, or hopefully a bunch of Michiganders, vote for a different Publican.

Not worried about junk mail from the Publican party. let them waste their stamps and I already toss more than half of my mail with out opening it. Can also be fun screwing up their push polls they send out.

I've said bfore that he's not powerful; he is just used by powerful people as a tool to get what they want. You have a good idea here, but it's not US that's propagating the myth that he's powerful--it's the media. THAT is who must convey the message of his weakness--and I seriously doubt that they would do it. Maybe our candidates can put it out there, but will the media then carry it to the undecided voters who need to hear it? We know his base/cult won't listen to it, because tRump is hurting the people they want to hurt (including themselves).

But I'm all for harping on his weakness as much as we can, because there is so much there!

Because the media is doing this. The media is the source of the super villain language. Think about it. The washington post, usa today, new york times printed hard copies of their newspaper with the big bold headlines--TRUMP ACQUITTED! which he held up at every chance he got. There were no hard copies with large headlines saying trump impeached!! THE MEDIA IS THE ONE PUMPING UP TRUMP, NOT THE PUBLIC. WE ARE JUST HAPLESS VICTIMS WHO ARE LEFT WITH NO OPTIONS EXCEPT THE BALLOT BOX AND TRUMP EVEN HAS THAT FIXED!! The democratic candidates can do it, but they're too busy beating on each other--they all think they have a real shot and they really, really don't. Why because they are too afraid to do what carvelle says. Biden tried, believe me he did, but he was summarily made a fool of by the other candidates. Kamala harris and cory booker bringing up 20 year old racism crap, and now both of them are out. now we've got bernie sanders who is only defending himself against trump--NOTICE HE'S NOT GOING AFTER HIM!! WHY? Bernie knows he can't get a majority with his super liberal agenda--HE'S ANOTHER RALPH NADER--he's only going to bust up the vote and allow trump to win.

WE NEED THE 1960's BACK. A TIME WHEN WE TOOK TO THE STREETS TO PROTEST. WE HAVE A REAL PROBLEM HERE.

https://www.businessinsider.com/authoritarianism-experts-say-time-running-out-americans-to-stop-trump-2020-2

The author cites authorities on authoritarian takeovers and fascism, who say that we are well along the road to losing our democracy and that Republicans are all on board because they see Trump as their opportunity to hold on to power and change the government in ways to make themselves the permanent majority.

“There need to be mass protests," he said. "The Republican Party is betraying democracy, and these are historical times. Someone has got to push back.

"The deeply worrying moment is when you start to become a one-party state," Stanley added. "The Republican Party has shown that it has no interest in multi-party democracy ... They are much more concerned with power, with consolidating power."

Stanley said recent actions by Republicans and Trump were "straight from the literature on authoritarianism."

He wanted to be one of them, but in reading the numerous biographical commentaries about him, he was always disappointed that no one in polite New York society and, more importantly, the *real* movers and shakers of New York and beyond, who sniggered about him behind his back (which did get back to him). He wanted to matter. He wanted then - as now - to be respected, feared and bowed to in the same manner he believe all those powerful "movers and shakers" were bowed to by their mere underlings.

The way to hurt and weaken him is to laugh at him and belittle him, and he is especially vulnerable about how he looks. He still believes he's the golden Adonis of his twenties and thirties. Keep mocking his clownish attire, his ridiculous and perverse *hair*, his mannerisms and gibberish. It hurts him and weakens him all the time he screeches and fumes on Twitter. He beclowns himself more and more with every insult and derisive comment that are heaped at him. Keep at it! It hurts him and weakens him further.

He gets away with being the asshole he is because he's the frontman for all the destruction others are quietly inflicting upon our beautiful nation. From the courts, to our National parks, to rules and regulations, foreign policies, so on and so forth.

In the meantime, he can play POTUS, Ivanka can play government, sit on his golden toilet watching TV and Twit the Twitter. All the sycophants bow down to him, say all the praise he wants to hear, and it makes him feel all powerful. What do these people care? They're getting what they want, and those deep in the woods are getting closer and closer to their coup. Trump doesn't get away with this shit because they think he's the best thing that ever happened in this country.

They got their perfect patsy. If this coup doesn't work out for them, well, the blame will be on Trump, and the RINO idiots in Congress, and elsewhere.

Their first useful idiot try was Dubya, then there was Sarah Palin, and now they have DJT - the perfect narcissist who has no conscience: he doesn't care, he doesn't back down, and enjoys inflicting pain.

He is a weakling. A dangerous one. One with a lot of power.

As an aside, I remember reading several years ago where a conservative group (forget which group), went throughout the country to find and support dumbed down people to run for Congress. People who would tow the line, and be bombastic. That's how we got some of the truly awful members in Congress. You don't see people like this on the Democratic side, do you? Nope we're not that craven.

I can't believe I typed what I just typed. But think about it. The ring of truth is plenty scary.

Feb 2020

After all nothing gets voted on in the Senate unless McConnell allows it.

Trump is nothing more than a baby who has to rely upon people like Barr and Miller to prop him up.

Trump is incapable of accomplishing anything positive on his own.

Bloomberg is a real billionaire, Trump is a fake one. Pour is on how successful Bloomberg is while Trump is a failure who has to lie and cheat his way to get money.

I would like to see Bloomberg do a Trump like open request for assistance in obtaining verifiable dirt on Trump. After all, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. He could offer to provide legal aide to anyone who leaks verifiable information on Trump. I wonder if anyone ever consider back dooring it to find financial information on Trump. After all there are at least two components to every transaction. If you can get information on the flip side of Trump's business dealings you might be able to piece together a lot more info on Trump's finances. Bloomberg has the money to be able to possibly go that route. Open records requests submitted to the County Registry of Deeds for all information on Trump's properties including requesting reduction is property taxes would help validate any inference of insurance fraud (if you can get copies of any other paperwork where Trump is claiming different valuation amounts.
