Are you unknowingly supporting Bain?

I was shocked at finding out how many companies and businesses were owned and/or controlled by Bain.

Here is the partial list, thanks to Wiki:

Since inception it has invested in or acquired hundreds of companies including
AMC Entertainment, Aspen Education Group,
Brookstone, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory,
Clear Channel Communications,
Domino's Pizza, DoubleClick, Dunkin' Donuts, D&M Holdings,
Guitar Center,
Hospital Corporation of America (HCA),
Sealy, The Sports Authority, Staples,
Toys "R" Us,
Warner Music Group and The Weather Channel.

Heavy into media, working off the belief that the pen is mightier than the sword. They have been planning this for some time.

I do have basic cable and internet from T-W.
Is that connected to Bain?

We have Alamo Drafthouse here so I don't
have to use AMC theaters.

Last I'd heard, they were owned by the Carlyle Group, which is another nest of vipers I purposely avoid patronizing.

so it is possible that Dunkin donuts is owned by both evil partners.

Bain also partners with Goldman Sachs to do buyouts.

Found myself wondering how they make money from the TWC....
