Trump voters at this stage are exactly this...

Lemmings going over a cliff.
In the last 24 hours he has admitted that he will be slashing social security and lied through his back teeth about COVID-19. Two things that will have a direct impact on a significant cohort of his core voters. If they still back him at this point when his policies could literally kill them, well they are more brain dead than even I gave them credit for.

but it's like it's been pumped up on steroids.

It's almost like an awful 'B movie' where an evil Satanist caste a spell that turned 1/3 of the country into greedy, fear filled, hate driven brain starved zombies has become reality.

If you see clips of jim jones he really was crazy. trump has the same ability of making millions of people believe he is a populist. In 2016 his promises were populist. his followers now don't care that those are the promises he kept. Abortion and hating darker skinned foreigners is enough to keep them happy while they choke on their Kool aid.

some hope.

[Number of voters in exit polls here, who made their political decisions just days before voting, were an eye-opener for me. Provide some kind of hope?].

His idiots just provide some focus to blame. Not that I’m excusing or suggesting friendships with them!
