What's the difference between Willard M. Romney & George W. Bush?

No, its not a joke, I wish it were. I'm sure there are a few differences, but the similarities are much more numerous.

Both were born to millionaire politician daddies.

Both were draft dodgers during the Viet Nam war.

Both were clueless idiots and terrible liars.

Both are owned by big corporations and giant oil interests.

Both claim to be godly and claim to be doing God's work.

Both seem totally out of place in a Walmart check out line.

Both are easily irritated by reporter's questions.

Bush and company started the Afghanistan war and Romney wants it to go on forever, plus start several new ones.

Bush and Romney both seem to want to throw the least among us into the streets to die.

They both represent the military industrial complex.

They both rely on others to tell them what to say, and hate to go off script.

They both are phony as hell.

The only difference I can see is Bush looks like an ape and Romney looks like a robot.

Romney doesn't hide his upper class upbringing
or his business dealings.

George W Bush pretended to be a good ole boy
from Texas with a cornpone accent and got away
with it.. even though he went to school in limos
and was an east coast wealthy frat boy.

The question is what is Romney's goal. I honestly have no idea so I am leery of him. But he is dangerous.

He's much smarter than Bush, who was mostly being manipulated by the neocon cabal led by Cheney. I think for Bush, who had been pretty much of a failure most of his life (every "success" he ever had was arranged by others), being president meant he finally got to be The Man. So he was happy to have Cheney call the shots as long as he got to wear all those different outfits with the presidential seal on them, like he was a member of the Village People. As long as he felt important and didn't have to work too hard it was all good.

Mittens is a different sort of character. I think he wants to be president because it's his due. And I think his Mormonism has quite a bit to do with it; Mormons have some goofy belief about America as the new Jerusalem and it will all be brought to fruition and controlled by the LDS church. Mittens may think he's the guy to bring this all about. He does not seem to have any core political principles, but will seem to believe whatever gets him closer to his goal. He is ruthless in a way Bush was not.
