People would think he's more real if he just says something like, "hey, I fucked up". He could give a touching speech about Afghanistan, the troops, their sacrifice and vets. He could give a fucking great speech to repair this damage.

It's not rocket science.

But this ass is incapable of humility and compassion. That is a lot of the reason he is losing.

One of the reasons he is such a terrible candidate is that he is incapable of admitting mistakes. So much so that I am beginning to think he actually thinks he never makes mistakes.

And the fact that he is actually the rethug nominee speaks volumes about that party.. They are in deep trouble.

whereas the Military Industrial Complex, the 'military' are the really important 'words' to talk about.

So, the troops are not worth talking about and the American people as a whole are merely "Human Capital" to be used and then written off when they no longer meet the needs of the 'bottom line'.
