City in darkness after 60 mph winds brought monsoon force rain in a sustaine deluge causing flooding and closure of US 8.
As an Arizonian (for the last 48 hours) I can only wonder if California isn't somehow responsible.

The storms have been wild around here over the last few week. Haven't had that kind of wind tho.

I drove the middle of that today... it was a wild dust and lightning storm.

We in the North will only take blame for thing happening in Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Lassen, a parts of the stretch of Nevada from Reno to Elko.

Some of us were personally at the mountains blowing, and blowing hard.
For the record, we have had some strange damn weather in this county this year... like thunderstorms in the mountains almost every day... WHAT? Yup.
