...says that it is a great time to go to a bar:

Devin Nunes Tells Fox Viewers It’s a ‘Great Time’ to ‘Go to Your Local Pub’ After Fauci Says Do ‘Whatever It Takes’ to Reduce Interaction at Bars

...
He also had this to say about what people can do to help businesses in their communities:

“There’s a lot of concerns with the economy here because people are scared to go out, but I will just say one of the things you can do — if you’re healthy, you and your family it’s a great time to just go out, go to a local restaurant, likely you can get in easily. Let’s not hurt the working people in this country that are relying on wages and tips to keep their small business going. Just don’t run to the grocery store and buy, you know, $4,000 of food. Go to your local pub.”
...

Really, Devin? Should I send my 88-year-old dad and my 84-year-old mom out to a pub on St. Patrick's day for a few hours? Do you think that that is a wise idea? Devin Nunes is still the same moron that he has always been.

I think many of these Republicans in Congress are not really worried about how many people die. They are just worried about the economy. They would rather have the economy go along like before, no matter how many people die, not realizing that the more people go out in groups now, the worse the economy will be later as more people get sick and die. What idiots these people are.

on our duty to use social distancing to slow/limit the spread of disease. If new cases don't overwhelm hospital capacity, we can avoid soaring death rates.

and am currently enduring lots of guilt trips from relatives because I chose not to travel for my cousin's wedding next week, which is a massive Indian wedding with hundreds of people hugging each other and plenty of elderly folks present. I sent both my good quality N99 masks and a bunch of cheaper disposable masks for elderly relatives and my parents to use but I don't want to be near them for their own safety.

Oh hell no. I'll facetime them from home.

I told my wife it would come in handy one day, besides using it to keep family from asking for money.
