I Noticed At The Last Two Covid Press Conferences (Yesterday & Today) That Trump.....

speaks - then takes questions - then leaves the podium.

I find that very surprising as I think as president he should be very visible and available.

To me that means one of two things: 1. He's not well and can't handle standing there for over an hour or hour an a half without being able to hold on to the speakers podium to keep him from falling. He did have much more labored breathing today than usual. He might be sick. And 2. He's too bored with all this virus talk to stand there and listen to the other speakers which really speaks loudly to his leadership.

Anyone else care to comment on this?

1. Some of the true reporters have tough questions he doesn't want to face.

Lately the WH has seeded the audience with right wing wingers pretending to be journalist. They're asking him soft-ball questions that make him look like he's on top of things. Sean Spicer was one of them.

COVID because all he does is lie.
Those pressers would be more valuable without him.

But to answer your question, I vote for #2,

12. It's his daily mini rally

He gets to bloviate, lie and whine for 20 minutes, take questions that he doesn't answer but again bloviates, whines and lies, for another 20 minutes, knowing all the while that he's getting free air time for this propaganda shite. Then he leaves to let the medical experts mop up.

As president, he should be leading - not running a daily propaganda fest. The only people who should be doing the briefing are Fauci and Birx, with the occasional economy person. IMPOTUS should be nowhere near that podium.

The media has to stop covering his daily shit show. They have learned nothing from 2016.

Right then my husband walked in from where he was watching and commented the same. So, in our opinion, he's flagging.

So he's taking every advantage of the position without doing what the Oath Of Office demands.

17. I thought Trump delegated the Covid response team to Pence?

Shouldn't that mean that the response team doesn't require his presence at these daily briefings? A shiny nickel to the first reporter who asks, "Mr. President, why are you here? Shouldn't we be getting the most accurate, latest information? You know, the stuff you don't know jack shit about?" Okay, maybe they don't have to ask that last question.
