If that asshole wasn’t in the WH they could get so much done. I suspect they’re working past him.

When something had to be done we jumped to it. Many times working all night for a couple days. Once or twice our chief had to drag us out of the EM Club for a quick job. There was a casual relationship between officers and enlisted. They let us do our job. Can Do

We don't have time to build buildings. We need structures that are already built that
are up to code w/electric, water, and so on.

BTW I loved how he challenged Rachel. You come and look at what we are doing.

He really is. And all he can do is point fingers and blame others. He disgusts me beyond belief.

I know he can't openly be critical of the PFUIC (profound fuck-up in chief), but he still managed to spin his report in a way that gave the impression that turd and turdette were trying to do what's best for Americans.

WE know they are doing what is best for their election chances, corporations, and the 1%. But the spin must reflect positively on him.

The turd has refused to take charge.

When the government should be marshaling all available companies that can build PPE supplies to do just that, he has not mandated that. Yes, the order was signed back in the 50's, he has openly supported it, but he has NOT actually given written instructions to those companies to do that.

When the government should be enforcing no price gouging or profiteering during an emergency, it isn't. States are competing with states AND the feds, which causes bidding wars. Is that not price gouging and profiteering? Governors find supplies, place orders, then find out that another state outbid them therefore their order is not being filled. How can they plan and actually get things done to save people in that environment?

The turd says, "let private companies offer to do this, let states' governors locate the supplies, request the supplies, make arrangement for delivery of the supplies, the federal government is not a clearing house". How can this happen if no one is in charge to keep things on track, making sure the places that need them, get them, and supplies AREN'T just sitting somewhere in some warehouse being hoarded?

Private companies that already make these items, or can quickly retrofit to do so, ARE doing so, voluntarily. GM, Ford, and other companies that have said they will do so (for a price, of course), will not have anything to send to areas that need it for a year to 18 months. But you can be assured they are probably WELL taken care of in the emergency bill.

The everyday people who make this country run, who provide the corporations their huge profits, and allow the CEOs to get outrageous salaries, bonuses and stock dividends? They will get crumbs which still may not prevent foreclosure, eviction, any semblance of a reasonable life.

Yet, mark my words, when this is all over, the turd will brag about how the private sector saved us, will take credit for it, and will then offer it as PROOF that everything that can be, SHOULD BE PRIVATIZED.
