I finally got a thermometer today.

Ordered a modest amount of gloves, masks, cold medicine, and a thermometer from Amazon about 15 days ago, and the last of it arrived today.

I'm ready.

1. Thermometer is good

Gloves are great if the cat horks up a hairball, otherwise don't bother. Masks work only if you're having severe symptoms and need to go to the ER.

Cold medicine will put you to sleep and you can get a buzz on Nyquil, although I don't recommend it. My drunk ex swore he'd quit drinking but he'd switched to Nyquil to fool himself.

Handwashing kills the virus by disrupting its outer skin and exposing the RNA strand to oxygen and/or sunlight, which convert it into inert chemicals to be sent down the drain.

But thermometer is good, really good. One of the hallmarks of this disease is a high temperature around 103F, it's how you'll know you're sick...with something.

2. I ordered an oximeter online yesterday for around 30 bucks. I figure if I get Covid19

and am told to stay home and sweat it out, it would at least help me to know if my O2 level is getting dangerously low so I could see about being hospitalized. Free shipping started at 35 bucks, so I added a box of cookies and a pudding 12-pack, because I didn't really have any comforting junk food in my plague pantry.
