I wasn't able to acquire more than one face mask, it's a low quality one I got from the ER when I went for my hernia. I saved it. So glad I did, because that's the only one available to me. I carry it in my purse in case I need it if the grocery store or pharmacy is crowded. I the spray mask down with alcohol and let dry after use.
7am, I have to go to two pharmacies tomorrow and a grocery store before work at 9 (designated healthy go-fer). I will leave all items in the trunk until 11 when my shift is done (home health worker). Come home, disinfect as best I can all items and me before coming in and change my shoes to flipflops. Sisters will put groceries and meds away while I shower and change. They'll wash up and disinfect surfaces. Laundry. Both my sisters are very high risk. Type II diabetes/with heart stent/murmur, the other congestive heart failure, asthma. Both over 60.
We have been super careful and I'm the only one venturing out for meds. We have been doing food delivery, but it's getting more expensive and less items we need are available. I've been planting all sorts of vegetable seeds and vegetable ends like celery, lettuce... getting ready to put in a bunch of sprouting potatoes. If you've got a pot to grow something, grow it! Those bags of beans will grow. Mixed bean soup- grow. If you feed birds, pull the peas out of the seed mix and plant them. I'm growing everything I can in our little area. I don't trust trump or anyone on the stage with him.
