Two Republican friends have turned on Trump. Say they will vote for Biden.

I usually have to just stay quiet listening to them bash Dems when they get together but the other day the two of them were going off on Trump. Both said several good things about the way Obama ran things with poise and how they wish he had been in charge when all this hit. These two disagreed Trump should have been impeached (why I have no idea) but they respect Romney voting for impeachment. I think deep down they just know Trump is mentally ill. One was talking about this lady who was saying this was all the Democrats fault bringing up all kinds of conspiracy BS and he said he was shaking his head and astounded by what she was saying. I think he said he got back in her face about it. There was real anger at Trump in that room the other day. I know some of the current polling doesn't show it but once this is over there will be months of campaign ads showing how Trump completely dropped the ball on this. His poor polling against Biden shows people just don't trust Trump to handle serious issues. People will NOT want Trump in a leadership position with the chance of something like this or worse happening again. Deep down some may struggle voting for a Democrat but risking Trump having to handle something like this again is going to cause a LOT of people to pull the lever for Biden who might not have a month ago. Way too much at stake when you have national emergencies hitting us.

Good to hear. I think a lot of reasonable people are going to turn on him. This is a disaster and he is responsible.

He will retain his cultish base, but I think their numbers are overestimated.

Now they promise not to trust him again. Except of course if he promises to eat the faces of those people they hate.

He’ll be losing voters faster than rats jumping off a sinking ship.

The question should be "Do you want Trump around when there is another disaster?"

One BIG factor when people go to the polls in November will whether they feel that Trump won't get the country into even worse trouble if re-elected, that will be a powerful concern, even if things are better at that point.

What we should pound in is the President Obama dealt with TWO killer viruses that had no cure when he faced them, he dealt with a massive killer storm in the form of Super Storm Sandy, he dealt with numerous killer hurricanes and tornados, he dealt with an unprecedented oil spill, and the country did not flinch, because he immediately brought in experts and calmly led their efforts while respecting their expertise, and not once did he try to pat hinself on the back. And oh yeah, he got Bin Laden.

It was the Iran hostages that turned it into a "Saint" Ronnie landslide.

I wonder if it might be possible that this pandemic, and Dolt45 and his insistence that any governor kiss his puffy "239" pound ass before he sends any Federal help for dying American citizens that will turn this into a Biden landslide.

I hope so. I can remember no president in my lifetime more deserving of a massive loss than Donnie boy.

Please God!
