Ouch. I just dropped a cool hundred bucks on the Obama campaign.
I will feel this. But this is Class War, and I'm putting my honest wage up against the Wealthy Class who have given up completely on the United States, the Rich who have finally decided its time to just vacuum all the money they can from our economy, raise the walls, bar the gates, and guard their ill-gotten gains with bought politicians and dutiful news outlets.
Their agenda is so bold they can barely say anything honest about it lest the useful idiots who they've trained to vote against themselves have a moment of clarity. Just look at Romney and Ryan. You almost feel sorry for them. All they have to do to plummet in the polls is say what's really on their minds - that they think we're all a bunch of morons, animals, whose only use is fuel for the factories and fodder for the war machine. If they could deny us the vote, they would. And they are. A few of us at at time.
Romney is likely to have more money than any politician in world history to spend on this election - a towering rancor monster born of stock options, trust funds, wall street speculation, golden parachutes, the shipping of jobs overseas, and the gutting of environmental and worker protections. So I'm taking my little contribution and placing it on a rising stack of others born of honest money. I want to see a freakin' Voltron of small contributions take on their fat, greasy wad of stinking, filthy money. Yea, I invoked Voltron.
