NYT: more Americans will die from Covid-19 'soon' than died in the Korean & Vietnam Wars combined

Trump Confronts a New Reality Before an Expected Wave of Disease and Death
Under the best-case scenario presented on Tuesday, more Americans will die from the coronavirus in the weeks and months to come than died in the Korean and Vietnam Wars combined. - NYT

Implied: tRump will preside over an American tragedy that will see more Americans killed on his watch than were killed under the administrations of Presidents Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

We all said history would not look back fondly on the tRump regime and his Russian enablers in congress. That will very soon no longer be opinion.

Granted, the world population was far smaller in the 1300’s.

(Estimated 360 mil to 432 million)
In 1400 AD, the world population was estimated to be lower than the population of the USA is now (350 mil to 370 mil).
The black death sure enough knocked out a big chunk of the world population.
