A US Navy ship captain, pleading for the well being of his crew, was fired by Trump.

Capt. Brett Crozier, a 28 year veteran and Academy graduate was relieved of duty for sounding an alarm for the welfare of his crew. That's what leaders do. The crew of the Theodore Roosevelt was absolutely in danger, with about 100 cases of C-19 and climbing.

I am a Navy vet. When I was in, more than fifty years ago, quarters were cramped. While today's crew quarters are more comfortable and have a bit more privacy, they are still cramped. Social distancing is just plain impossible.

Clearing the ship is the right thing to do.

Capt. Crozier asked for help in a letter.

An excerpt of the letter found its way into a newspaper.

Team Trump relieved him of duty.

These are the very same fuckers who wrap themselves in our flag and tell us how great they are for the military.

Every day I loathe him twice as much as the day before -- because that depraved sack of shit is absolutely devoid of all humanity.

It's frustrating as hell that we must still endure this cretin.

was that the story managed to get to the press! The military really frowns on having their problems made public!

the ports in Southeast Asia were already closed to cruise ships well before that. I'm sure they had their reasons for going anyway, but it was unwise.
