I'm lucky

I know where my next meal will come from.

I know where to go at the end of the day. It isn't a cardboard box or under a bridge.

I know my beliefs that every American regardless of race or creed is equal is the law of the land.

I owe military Veterans more than the US Government can ever pay in restitution.

I want my grandchildren to have a better life than what current policy's could leave for them.

Quality education for all will make for a better America.

1. I am lucky too

I have a computer to write this on and internet service to send it outside my home.
I will have heat this winter and next summer, my house will be cool.
I have a garden to grow vegetables in to feed my family and share with neighbors. I even have flowers growing there too.
I can keep a dog and cat and keep them in food.
I have a private shower and private washing machine and dryer to keep myself and my clothes clean.
I am sitting in a safe neighborhood right now as I type this. My door is unlocked and my windows are open.
