Flip flop flip flop...Mittens? NO! That is the sound of six RED states turning pink.

Arizona
Texas
Georgia
Indiana
North Carolina
Tennessee

Have all gone pink. And don't forget...these are based on "likely voters" and based on polls that are often land-line (and older voter) heavy. Many minorities are screened out of "likely voter" polling and anyone who only voted in the last election probably is not considered a "likely voter". (So anyone who was first registered in 2008 might not be counted).

But, in my opinion, a state going from dark red to pale pink (without turning rose first) is very like much closer to a tossup than a pink.

TPM is leaning more Democratic than most maps but it is my favorite.

NYT is now showing Missouri as pink as well.

The Huffington Post has NC as a tossup now.

Maybe Gregg can beat Pence for Governor and Donnelly can beat Mourock for Lugar's Senate seat. Maybe a pipe dream, but hey, you never know. I have also considered that any of the races could drive turnout and produce for the others??
