God had destroyed Satan?

According to what little I know about the Bible, Satan was a fallen angel. Why did God let him exist? If he had not done that, we wouldn't have any hatred.

No I don't believe that is why we have hatred...I don't believe there was a fallen angel either. That is a story about what causes evil. They didn't have any other way to explain it. So we have a myth which is used to justify everything bad that goes on in this world.
