Question about stimulus check and Social Security

I keep seeing articles about stimulus checks going to Social Security recipients (like me), but those articles don't agree on whether or not we have to file any paperwork in order to receive the checks. My SS check has been direct deposit for years, but so far there's no sign of any stimulus deposit.

So, does anyone know for sure -- Do I have to file some paperwork to get the check?

Thanks~

online is getting slammed so hard that I can only get to a page that shows the balance of my checking and savings. It's the right amount to have gotten both payments. I didn't expect both today.

7. No, if you have direct deposit they know exactly where to send the money.

If you get paper check, those will be sent May 1st and after. I also get ss and I haven't got mine. From what I understand they will sending ss recipients in the next round of stimulus money.

...and that is happening to some people who have been SS recipients for decades now.

You do not have to file paperwork, they say.

She called her bank, and while it wasn’t pending, the bank said it should still come in within a few days. Citizens Bank is terrible. So slow.
