With all of Romney's money, and the money of his benefactors, why didn't he bring in the best?

Did the smart guys turn him down?

I don't get the management level of Romney's campaign. Is it that he doesn't listen to anyone, or is he surrounded by amateurs?

The last 24 hours of Romney's campaign will become part of the history of presidential campaigns. It will be studied by students in university courses on presidential politics in the same way that the Watergate cover-up or the Daisy ad is studied.

Doesn't he have a staff? Aren't people supposed to be helping him? If I had to guess, I'd guess that his arrogance makes him not listen to them.

up at the company. He really is a dud. He is only great in his own mind. He and Ryan look more like Bachman and Palin only in pants. Thank god we are seeing what we will get if he makes it to the white house. I hope people who really hate Obama will rethink not voting for him. If we get this man his is only an auto pen for corporations and Bebe will be our president.

He himself has totally guided the direction and that is the problem. He's gone rogue. Rogue, I tell ya.

He hired a new debate coach and did much better. So what does he do? He fires the coach because the coach is getting too much credit. He's unteschable, because his ego won't let anyone else get credit.

12. Narcissism

From Wikipedia:

Hotchkiss' seven deadly sins of narcissism
Hotchkiss identified what she called the seven deadly sins of narcissism:[6]
Shamelessness: Shame is the feeling that lurks beneath all unhealthy narcissism, and the inability to process shame in healthy ways.
Magical thinking: Narcissists see themselves as perfect, using distortion and illusion known as magical thinking. They also use projection to dump shame onto others.
Arrogance: A narcissist who is feeling deflated may reinflate by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else.
Envy: A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person's ability by using contempt to minimize the other person.
Entitlement: Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves special. Failure to comply is considered an attack on their superiority, and the perpetrator is considered an "awkward" or "difficult" person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.
Exploitation: Can take many forms but always involves the exploitation of others without regard for their feelings or interests. Often the other is in a subservient position where resistance would be difficult or even impossible. Sometimes the subservience is not so much real as assumed.
Bad boundaries: Narcissists do not recognize that they have boundaries and that others are separate and are not extensions of themselves. Others either exist to meet their needs or may as well not exist at all. Those who provide narcissistic supply to the narcissist are treated as if they are part of the narcissist and are expected to live up to those expectations. In the mind of a narcissist there is no boundary between self and other.
