Joe Biden is not taking advantage of a golden opportunity.

With all the nonsense President Lysol is spouting, Biden should be publicly jumping on all the stupid statements. He should be on TV every day pointing out the nonsense and idiocy. His campaign needs to get tough and get moving. I’m frustrated with him.

Biden also tried to go on CNN and MSNBC and you missed them as well. It's partly the media's fault that Biden's interviews doesn't get repeated in every news show.

But this is the disadvantage for not saying the most outrage things and only speak sensible things that almost every other sane person is saying. The most outrage things (Trump stupid words) will get repeated non-stop but the sane person will be ignored because other people are saying the same thing.

At least MSNBC and CNN would likely be good with having him on. I have seen Biden on Morning Joe a few times already in the last couple of weeks.

I agree that he needs to step up his presence.

People will see any of his critics as political and discount it. No one should politicize the pandemic. Trump shouldn't do daily. Biden shouldn't either.

From bragging about "grab them by the p" to impeachment, nothing has hurt him much. The polling fluctuate but come back when it's under 40% or over 50%, otherwise, it doesn't move enough.

Just last night, I talked about the lysol shit with my parents. Their response? "You are just a Trump hater".

During last Friday's "Shields and Brooks" segment on the News Hour, Judy Woodruff asked if Biden is being hurt by the relative lack of attention, inability to campaign, etc.

Brooks said, "Biden is fine." I agree.

Biden is working with his teams, issuing plans and policies, doing podcasts and virtual town halls. His poll numbers are steady and solid while IMPOTUS' are going down.

It's April and there's a pandemic that this maladministration is making worse. Only those of us who are involved in Democratic politics (as volunteers) are paying attention to the presidential campaign.

Biden is fine.

can do in the middle of a pandemic that demands huge action. Better that the electorate see President Trump and Majority Leader McConnell failing to help them from the WH and senate, not Biden from his basement.

Both would of course be grateful if Biden kept pushing himself into their disaster and distracting attention for the next several months because they wouldn't look any worse for his badmouthing. He would by association.

When an opponent is shooting himself in the food, there is no reason to get in on the story. Now, where the candidate should not get involved, ANY surrogate SHOULD point out that where Biden has a sane plan, Trump's ideas will kill people if they follow his advice. Someone should ask Trump and campaign surrogates if, Ivanka was positive, would he want her injected?
