Obvious trolls are obvious.....

The (presumably) Russian bots are at again on HuffPost, Occupy Democrats and other progressive FB sites, trying to sound like disaffected leftists, and trying to sow discord. Donnie's poor poll numbers clearly have their knickers in a bunch.
Unlike 2016, they're pretty obvious this time. And I gotta admit, troll hunting is lots of fun.

I agree, every day I like to go to Reddit and destroy these stupid Trump supporters.

This weekend on my local "Next Door" I went too far and got myself banned for 31 days. But Is was worth It, I had a great time.

I'm heartened by the fact that anymore the trolls are being identified as such by everyone else. I find what's helpful is to go to their profile pages, which are often hilariously vague and poorly defined. They really don't like being outed that way, because it usually means getting banned and forcing them to have to create a new profile. My guess is that there's likely a troll record book somewhere that raises a red flag when you have to create too many identities.

I was thinking about Russian bots and Putin and what they’re going to do in 2020 with Jesse Ventura (who is likely compromised) and it occurred to me the occupy thing in 2011 might have been a very early, very rudimentary attempt by Putin to demonstrate the power of social media and shit stirring in the west.

I’m not sure any in depth reporting has been done on that, but 9 years down the road the occupy Wall Street movement has the feel of something stoked by Russia.
