Trump knocking Bush Jr., could open the door for Republicans to knock Trump..

.......................................... ...................................... ...............................

..That might take some time, but the door is open. All Bush Jr. did was try to make a statement that could possibly unify this country during this awful time. So, Trump hits back at a past President of the United States for useless statement on current history. Bush Jr. is not the brightest bulb, and says very little, but this statement is really ....very little...
..For Trump to knock a ...very little statement.....by Very Little Bush Jr, opens the door for some very tall Republicans to knock Trump. It sure doesn't sound that way, but why is Trump going after ..Very Little Bush Jr.?. What purpose is that?..
.. It could allow others to go after Trump for not focusing on what is important NOW, as opposed to some statement by Very Little Bush Jr...Trump cannot "shut up." Could attacking Bush Jr. open up the door?
Another episode will be aired tomorrow in this idiotic show..."As Trump Turns"...

You keep looking for reasons why this thing or that other thing will be Trump's undoing. Please. Nothing will be Trump's undoing except death or the election (we hope), and I can guarantee that one of his snide comments directed at Bush won't be - because nobody, GOPer or Democrat, cares about what Bush thinks. It will be forgotten in a day or two.

..1960..It took Nixon a long time to hit, "the wall" and resign, and I believe that Trump will hit some, "wall" and also resign. Nixon's history was as resilient Trump's. In politics anything can happen and often does. (Nixon lost in 60, but became President in 68.) ( I worked for both Humphrey in 68 and McGovern in 72) Nixon resigned on August 8, 1974.

There is a chance that Trump will make some mistake that will open up the door very wide.. Keep in mind, this pandemic is far more serious than Watergate, and has killed tens of thousands. (Watergate killed no one ) The door is already open, and something may "explode the door."
..National politics has strange events. Anything can happen and often does. That is why I continue to say that Trump may resign because of this or that. Any small event could explode the Trump story, and his mind, and cascade into a resignation. That could happen for a number of reasons, unknown to any of us. That is why I will continue to posts my opinions here in Democratic Underground.

The Republicans can not go back on their support for Trump. They have all of their eggs in one basket. The results of losing the presidency scares them far more than four more years of Trump. Trump knows it and that is why they can't rein the fool in. Trump has the party by the ass.

What Trump may not have considered is that all of that may change if he wins the election. The party may then be willing to sacrifice him, while still retaining the office, in order to save the party. (I don't think the party could survive four more years of a Trump presidency) The next impeachment, that the Democrats would be happy to provide, would result in a conviction. Of course, that doesn't help us a hell of a lot with Penis in the White house.

Win or lose the election, I think that the odds are slim that Trump could politically survive a year after the election.

Of course, we could skip all of the drama and just elect Biden....
