Both recognize the pain of these deaths, but Obama, clearly knows that Clinton is taking it particularly hard, given its nearly unprecedented occurrence and the fact she had sworn in the Ambassador months ago.

If those seeing this can not appreciate the sincerity of their relationship, then there is nothing but dismal cynicism in the world of these critics.

when he has put his arm / hand around her to comfort her. The State Department is a family and this is very, very personal and painful for her and he clearly knows she is hurting.

When they finished this ceremony and were walking to their seats he did it again but this time she reciprocated. I think she felt he needed comfort as well. Two good and peaceful warriors.
