But your name was out there, and when the time came, fueled by your humiliation at a never-to-be forgotten White House Press Dinner, you decided to launch a quixotic bid for the Presidency.
What the Hell, at the least that would give you a few more chances to call him a n****r, right?
But WTF? Who knew there were enough curiosity seekers, racists, and morons to actually ooze you into the Oval Office? You didn't really want it, but now you were stuck.
Damn, dude, then you actually had to do something other than declare bankruptcy when things went south.
In a perfect world you might have been able to ride the Obama economy to a second term. You wouldn't have had to do a damned thing. Just keep nominating whatever judges you were instructed to put forth, and try not to get caught grabbing a pussy on camera.
But suddenly, shit got real.
FDR had the Great Depression and WWII. He handled both of them.
JFK had the Cuban Missile Crisis, and he handled it like a champ.
But you got hit with a global pandemic. And your failures were exposed. And almost 100,00 deaths later, everyone recognizes your inadequacy.
You see, Donnie, screeching "You're fired" at Meat Loaf ain't quite the same as dumping a boat load of IGs who were engaged in their Constitutional duty to investigate the wrongdoing of you and your coterie of petty criminals and shameless grifters.
Advocating drinking bleach is equally unhelpful.
People also tend to pay attention when their President insists on repeatedly showing his ass.
So please, just get out. Hell, you were (sigh) actually a President of the United States of America. I know that appealing to a better nature that you clearly don't possess would be fruitless. But if you get the fuck out of town, you might be able to score the first Presidential plea bargain in American political history. Maybe you can parlay that into a few bucks down the road.
And everyone knows that's all you care about.

I was in college at the time and went on to do 35 years of teaching/principal stuff in public schools.
Been a ride, hasn't it? 
and attained a degree in elementary education.
I spent 30+ years as a full time public school educator, and after retirement I continued on as a substitute.
And, yeah. It's been one Hell of a ride!
