I don't get why the other 3 police officers haven't been charged. I watch ID

most nights and believe if you are present at a murder scene, you are equally as guilty as the actual killer.

Why aren't they charged as accomplices to murder?

It sounds as though that is indeed the intent but what to charge them with and how to conduct a very sticky process is paramount.

I guess you have a right to be cynical after all the crap we’ve been fed and had to endure, but sometimes giving it a minute and finding out what’s happening before you spit on it is a good idea.

I really have no idea, but I was speculating that they might be trying to weaken one of the officers to testify against the others in exchange for lesser charges. They all took the fifth last week, but there might be a weak link in Officer Lane. He's the one that tried to get Chauvin to turn George Floyd on his side, twice, and he checked his pulse at some point. To get a cop to testify against other cops is very difficult, but it could have a tremendous impact.

Now maybe they could do all that after they arrest the officers. I don't think trying to drive a wedge between the cops necessarily has to be done prior to arresting them.

Of course, now they are ex-officers, and that might be relevant.

With Keith Ellison taking over, I don't think it will be long before we see other arrests.

As far as I know, not one of those officers has even given a statement about what happened that day or even filled out a report.
