Harris: Trump 'just tear-gassed peaceful protesters for a photo op'

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) accused President Trump of firing tear gas at peaceful protestors “for a photo op.”

“Donald Trump just tear-gassed peaceful protesters for a photo op,” Harris tweeted Monday.

Several loud bangs echoed before Trump took the podium at the Rose Garden as law enforcement fired tear gas into a crowd of peaceful protesters.

Trump then walked from the White House to the St. John’s Church and held up a bible as he took pictures with staff.
