Whereas, the conditions of domestic violence and disorder described therein continue, and the persons engaging in such acts of violence have not dispersed;
Now, Therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including Chapter 15 of Title 10 of the United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows;

If so, then, yeah, I remember, and I remember it didn't turn out so well for Gordon.

Designed to stop federal troops from being used as law enforcement in the southern states, as they were during Reconstruction.

The end of Reconstruction stopped progress on equal rights in the south for nearly 100 more years.

I didn't know what it was at the time, but my uncle was part of that group with Kahl. He was a holocaust denier and when I was a little kid, he tried to indoctrinate me. It didn't work. We had the entire suite of Encyclopedia Britannica (leather brown covers with the glossy gilt edging. oh yeah, totes posh) and I looked it up. I don't think I did it to fact check him (I was in 3rd grade or something) but I've always been curious and always wanted to know more. Then some more. Another side of more with just one more scoop ...and now I can't think.
