... we'd find communiqués from El Presidente of the Banana Republic of America condemning the Chinese government for how the Hong Kong police force handled its protesters.

Now El Presidente decided that it is OK for federal police to tear gas peaceful protestors.

The government of the People's Republic of China are having a field day. They already portray America as a country struggling with class warfare and racism - and the way that Trump is handling this is enabling the Chinese government to cement its version of America among the Chinese public.
