Although every state has now begun reopening its economy in one form or another, health officials are warning the public to not let their guards down against the spread of the coronavirus.
The U.S. has the highest number of coronavirus cases around the world, but the rate of infections has declined in several parts of the country as a result of social distancing restrictions.
Dr. Lakshmana Swamy, an ICU physician at Boston Medical Center, warned what could happen if people take too much of a lackadaisical approach towards the pandemic.
What are people seeing across the country in our numbers? Swamy said on Yahoo Finances The Ticker recently (video above). Theyre seeing coronavirus cases go down. Thats fantastic.

(100,076 posts)Cases are starting to peter out around the globe and even the WHO is now suggesting that the virus could just burn out on its' own. But we still need to wait and see what these protests and things of that nature are going to bring in.

b) states where it was comin under control opened back up too soon
c) the protests are just adding gasoline to the pandemic fire.
