(113,315 posts)Secretary Clinton until the convention. THAT is when the nominee is "official". A technicality, perhaps, but that is how it goes. We have to follow the formal process.

(45,806 posts)nomination. I'm just wondering what the Dems are going to do about the convention. Last I heard they were trying to do something remotely, but that was several months ago.

(19,201 posts)to vote as well. We have to hand Trump such a resounding defeat that he won't be able to cry about fixed elections, or not leaving. We have to run that stupid son-of-a-bitch and his entire huckster family out of Washington on a rail. I'll gladly volunteer to help carry the rail.

(12,470 posts)Gets that trump is a real danger but she falls for the old canard that Dems are corrupted too crap.
She is leaning twords Biden, I just have to push her over the edge so to speak. She knows our country is in danger.
SergeStorms
(19,201 posts)to do her own research on those supposed Democratic corruptions. Maybe she'll be surprised at how much of that is pure, unadulterated bullshit. People get a little upset when they're lied to all of the time.
I_UndergroundPanther
(12,470 posts)Sent her news links etc.
I think she's intellectually a bit lazy. She ignores my links then when I talk to her what I tell her she has no clue about what I sent her. Than she backpedals
And does not admit she didn't bother to even skim it. She fancies she knows the Constitution she knows it in historical way but not in deep way and not understanding the concept that the construction is a living document .
She thinks using the incompetance removal of a president whos unfit that Nancy Pelosi with a slam of her gavel could make it happen even though republicans will fight or ignore her.. All I can do with a response like that is do a facepalm.
She has no idea how complex reality is.
She has no idea that the republicans don't give a shit about the law or the Constitution, and the Constitution is pretty much silent on remedies for ridding us of tyranny of a minority.
If Nancy had a magic gavel that she could use to force trump out she would have gotten rid of trump ages ago.
SergeStorms
(19,201 posts)I'd avoid all political conversations with her. Talk about other things. It's not worth the aggravation. I have relatives who are the same way. They're steadfast in their political positions, but offer no proof whatsoever if asked for verification. They "just know it".

(67,782 posts)....around the NYS primary will gain Biden even more delegates than he would have normally gotten.
We're the last to vote - August 11, a full month after all the other primaries, and only days before the Convention.
