Swift Consequences for Men Who Staged George Floyd Scene

https://www.newser.com/story/292065/man-loses-job-over-appalling-reenactment-in-nj.html?utm_source=part&utm_medium=uol&utm_campaign=rss_top

– People participating in a Black Lives Matters march in New Jersey on Monday came upon a counterprotest that's being called "appalling and offensive"—and ended with one man losing his job and another being suspended. The incident took place in Franklin Township, where two men among a group of white counterprotesters on private property reenacted the scene that killed George Floyd. More:

Video shot by protesters showed one man on the ground and another kneeling on his neck and shouting, "This is what happens when you don't comply with the cops! Comply with the cops and this wouldn't have happened! He didn't comply!" The Washington Post notes the criminal complaint filed against the officers involved in and at the scene of Floyd's death states the 46-year-old did comply. The fallout came swiftly for the two men, who were confirmed to be a FedEx employee and a New Jersey corrections officer.

The Cherry Hill Courier-Post reports the longtime senior corrections police officer—who has worked with the New Jersey Department of Corrections since 2002—was suspended "pending a thorough and expedited investigation, per an NJDOC post on Facebook. The post called the video "hateful and disappointing." NJ.com cites state employment records in identifying the man as Joseph DeMarco.

FRANKLIN TWP., N.J. — A New Jersey corrections officer has been suspended and a FedEx employee was fired for their alleged roles in the creation of a "hateful and disappointing" video mocking the police-involved death of George Floyd in Minnesota.

FedEx said it does "not tolerate the kind of appalling and offensive behavior depicted in this video."

FedEx announced the termination late Tuesday.

New Jersey Department of Corrections posted to its Facebook page Tuesday that an "individual has been suspended from their post and banned from NJDOC facilities pending a thorough and expedited investigation."

NJDOC spokeswoman Liz Velez confirmed late Tuesday this is a "senior corrections police officer" who was hired in March 2002 and worked at the Albert C. Wagner Youth Correctional Facility in Bordentown until January 2019 and currently works at the Bayside Correctional Facility in Maurice River Township.

1. "He didn't comply!"

We'll hear that again and again. It's all authoritarians have left. Apparently, failure to comply with any police order is a capital offense, and police have the right to immediately execute the offender. It's the very definition of authoritarianism: the enforcement or advocacy of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom or one's life.

They will simply blame "PC culture" and continue being the same hateful shitstains on society. They just won't be making as much money.

They DO NOT have a knee on anyone's neck. It is on their backs. Big F'ing difference.

I have seen this again and again and these yahoos are not that brave they are cowards. Perhaps a protester needs to see just how willing they are to really feel the pressure on their necks.

5. It was both on George Floyd's neck and another two men on his back and buttocks.

It was the combination which killed him.

It was a combination of blocking blood flow and depressing his ability to breathe, from what I've read.

Peace.

I guarantee you they listen to Hate Radio every day. This has convinced them that they are the majority, and 99.9% of the "people" agree with them.

They truly believe they will be treated as heroes by society for doing this dispicable shit.

"...err... Rush and Hannity talk like this all the time, and they've made a gazillion dollars! You mean I can lose my job for doing something I hear on the radio everyday"?

Seriously, the guy is probably shocked that he's not being celebrated or given a presidential medal of Freedumb
