Trump babbles that he's honored by RWNJ Archbishop Vigano saying he leads the children of light

I ran across that BS letter from Vigano to Trump a few days ago via Twitter and considered posting about it then, but it was such obvious lunacy I didn't think anyone would pay much attention to it.

But the Lunatic-in-Chief did, and he tweeted about it this evening.

Vigano is known for his enmity toward Pope Francis.

This new letter refers to both the "deep state" and the "deep church" as forces of "the children of darkness," while Trump leads "the children of light" in a battle that is also spiritual.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good – who are the majority – wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

It's a disgrace that the Catholic Church has an ass-kissing lunatic like Vigano as an archbishop.

It wasn't until halfway through the letter, when he used the phrase "deep state" before I could even figure out which side he was on.

He thinks the world will be a better place with his conservative Catholics in charge. After all, they've done so well in the past. Maybe we can have another Inquisition with Opus Dei in charge. Just wait until they get a Pope who supports their actions. Shouldn't be too much longer.

hence this load of bullshit from Carlo Maria Viganò, notorious hater of Pope Francis, and notorious sex abuse cover-up king.

Viganò is the prick who was responsible for dragging noted Kentucky homophobe Kim Davis into a meeting with Pope Francis. After Davis' lawyer made news of the meeting public a few days later, Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, then Vatican spokesman, had told reporters, "the pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects."

Juan Carlo Cruz, a survivor of sexual abuse who met with Pope Francis, alleged that Viganò "nearly sabotaged the visit" by having Francis meet Davis. "I didn't know who that woman was, and he snuck her in to say hello to me — and of course they made a whole publicity out of it," Pope Francis said, according to Cruz. Cruz stated that Pope Francis said that he was "horrified" and that he then "fired that nuncio."

Viganò was called on the carpet in Rome after this PR debacle and "was clearly shaken having been summoned to Rome". Father Lombardi and Father Thomas Rosica (assistant to Fr Lombardi) met with Viganò afterwards and said that Archbishop Viganò told them verbatim: "The Holy Father in his paternal benevolence thanked me for his visit to the USA but also said that I had deceived him his bringing that woman to the nunciature." Fr Rosica also quoted the archbishop as saying, "The Pope told me: 'You never told me that she had four husbands,'" which could indicate the pope believed Davis' actions were not completely about defending the sanctity of marriage.

So, to net it out for those who don't follow Vatican intrigue with the same lurid curiosity as, say, celebrity gossip in Dlisted or Radar, the bottom line is that so-called "LifeSite News" is an Opus Dei front, and Viganò is a virulent homophobe (and a self-loather) whose only support comes from other corrupt priests who also hate Pope Francis. Oh, and also from Rump.

"For the first time" - so he's denouncing Reagan, the Bushes, Eisenhower plus the Catholic JFK. That's how you know, from the opening, that this is a personal brown-nosing, arse-kissing, taint-licking love letter to the abominable Trump on the basis of shared prejudices, hatreds, and lust for power, not an attempt at a religious thought. This is not just a standard "I'm a right-wing Christian" screed; it's even worse.

"there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals", "spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters" - hey, Maria, why not throw the Protocols of Zion in, while you're about it? We can see that dog whistle of 'globalism'. This is bigoted conspiracy theory crap.

Extremely polarizing words to be coming from a former priest. Also very hypocritical.

That all means Trump will offer him citizenship and an office in the White House.....

Even though he's retired, I propose Pope Francis defrock his ass in the public square in Rome......
