I live in a small Lake Wobegon-like town of about 3200 in east central Minnesota. Like many small MN towns, an elderly population and (unfortunately) quite red. This afternoon I was running an errand as an older gentleman glided up on his scooter. As I held the door for him I noticed his bright blue ball cap emblazoned with "FLUSH THE TURD NOVEMBER THIRD."
"I like your cap, sir," I said
"Thanks," he grinned. "I take some heat for it around town. You can't reason with some of the lunkheads around here."
Small town Minnesota. Some days it'll surprise you.
