I remember that poll, not that long ago. This is just more horse-race bull shit.

(128,967 posts)One of the callers mentioned how (I think) her sister had been a Shrub voter in 2004 strictly because he was "more Christian than the other person running" (Kerry).
I think these are a small minority of the electorate and I wouldn't be surprised if many were never voters in the first place.

(2,566 posts)She goes to church twice week. I go sometimes to see their kick ass gospel choir...seriously, even if you aren't religious, these people will blow you away! Just about 100% of them are voting for Obama.

amendment to the NC Constitution prohibiting gay marriage or
recognition of civil unions passed here last May.
It's one reason I'm not as optimistic that Obama will be able to take
NC again in November. OTOH, I'm not sure that African-Americans
in NC are one issue voters.
