Waxing a bit

Ok, I have to wax a bit. I've been saying for years that young people need to step up politically and socially; and now they are, finally, in a good, big way! It's young people mostly behind the BLM protests; and young people have finally turned on Trump and the Reeps in an amazingly strong and clever way, thank god!

Our survival as a species, and the recovery of a very damaged ecosystem, is at stake here, not just the socio-political dynamic. I just hope it's not too late. I also want to see young Greta Thunberg's activism break out again in a really big movement for climate recovery as well! I'm starting to love this world again.

to join older Democrats and anti-Trumpers to actually, you know, VOTE! will deserve that faith.

I love what's been happening. I believe we're living a historic pivot toward a future of great promise, a return to doing things right and more so. Marches in over 700 towns and cities were magnificent, but it can all be for nothing if that doesn't go on to become votes that decide who will win this giant battle for POWER. We know Russia, China and Iran are working with the Republicans to steal this election.

When the street party's over, the tough get voting. So, how many of the kids we're so proud of now will get themselves to the polls like the adults we and they -- above all they -- desperately need them to be?

BLM - originally seen as just rowdy black people in the streets. But these were young people demanding this country do better. They are pushing climate change. They look around, and they are not liking what the old white guard is wanting to give them.
