They set expectations waaay to high. And the funny thing is, with the coronavirus this rally could have been a success if they would have stated that although the arena holds 19,000 people that they would practice social distancing precautions so a limited amounted a people (Say 6,000) would be allowed to attend. Then they could have claimed success and said that they sold out

But I am still impressed with his ability to entertain for 90-100 minutes.

Together with the virus (evidently at least some of Trump's fanboys think it really exists), this might have encouraged a lot of people decided to stay home and watch it on tv.

You're supposed to do it the other way around, but the campaign had to hype expectations because Needy Amin demanded a win to make himself feel better. I look forward to the day we have a president who doesn't have to be coddled like a cranky toddler.
I know some here predicted the rally would be a disaster.
But what a glorious disaster!
