WASHINGTON – Former National Security Adviser John Bolton mercilessly criticizesPresident Donald Trump in his new book but writes that he had a White House ally in the vice president.

From China and Russia to Syria and Venezuela, Bolton and Vice President Mike Pence wanted to take hard lines against oppressive regimes while Trump sought to cut deals and appease totalitarian leaders, Bolton says in his memoir scheduled for release Tuesday.

“As Vice President, Pence maintained the strong views on national security that he’d had during his years in the House of Representatives, and I regarded him as a consistent ally,” Bolton wrote in “The Room Where it Happened: A White House Memoir.”

Bolton argued for keeping Pence on the 2020 ticket when Trump asked if he should replace him with Nikki Haley, the former United Nations ambassador.

He's 100% a partisan who has applied no blame for anything which has taken place under Trump on anyone other than Trump and the Democrats.

He's extending a parachute to Pence incase Trump wins a second term and is subsequently successfully impeached. That's literally all this is.

Bolton is not a stupid man and he's laying seed and fertilizing it. If Trump were to win a second term, but be removed via an impeachment, he's attempting to give false validity to Pence for his parties sake.

Know whose speaking and what they support.

Oh, and Nikki Haley has zero chance of replacing Pence this cycle. She won't go there and risk her future political aspirations. She's a darling of the never Trumper's and more recent Republicans Against Trump. If she ties herself to him she's sullied with those groups. She's going to bide her time and ride out this storm. She's banking on a reformation in the party where she'll be the star.

We won't like them either. Their planned players are hardly better than their previous ones. Their stink spread, as it we're.

only make him look like an even bigger sleazeball by his outward portrayal of a lapdog.

Secondly, you should have a google on what Never Trumpers say about Haley. She's toast with them, after the last time she stuck her head above the parapet and went all Trumper, clearly gunning for that VP spot.

but the last time she stuck her head up (at the end of last year), she went all Trumpy (I think to butter Trump up for the VP spot). She called a George Conway tweet "disgusting" and other Lincoln project people like Rick, piled in on her, and then piled in again over her support for the Confederate flag.

If Pence thought things were so bad he could have talked to republican senators and invoked the 25th amendment. He could have convinced a few republican senators to vote yes and have him removed. When the impeachment hearings were going on he could have convinced a few republican senators to vote yes to impeach him but he chose not to do that SO Pence is just as bad as Trump.
