The CNN debate with Biden and Sanders was by far the best one of the primaries. No pandering lines to an audience since there was no audience. That is what they should do. Trump would not have anyone to clap at what he says. Everyone would just be sitting there mouths open after he finishes speaking letting it just sit there for people to absorb.

6. An honest question...Why even have debates?

Let the orangeanus keep opening his mouth and do all the damage himself. AFAIC, debates in 2020 are less than worthless.

7. To contrast where the candidates stand on the issues. I actually have my doubts that trump

will want to have the debates, and would not be surprised if he finds an excuse to avoid it

8. If a citizen of the USA does not know WHERE the candidates stand on the issues

they aren't interested. IMO, 99% have already made up their minds as to who they are voting for. The other 1% doesn't give a damn.
