Asking a favour: could someone who is on social media contact megan mccain, and "politely"

suggest that she become acquainted with the history of mt rushmore? I, unfortunately, caught a few minutes of The View today, just at the point where she was saying that nobody has ever protested the carving up of that mountain (called "The Six Grandfathers" by the Lakota, but named for a white businessman by the invaders). I guess the anger and protests of the indigenous peoples do not count. I mean, we are coming up on the 50th anniversary of the occupation of rushmore by NativeAmerican activists.

She proudly discussed her and ben's patriotic art collection. Perhaps it could include some non/whitewashed items, books, etc.

The defense of Grant is another discussion.

We SHOULD get rid of Mt. Rushmore & give the land we stole back to the Sioux.

"Mount Rushmore" is stolen property. We need to return it to its owners as signed by the United States in the Treaty of 1868. Let them decide what to do with the white face rocks.

Give it back to the Native Americans.

Mount Rushmore was a sacred NA monument before we blew it up the first time.

Nah, but I reckon they owe some serious cash to the Lakota for stealing it n blowing it up in the first place... Every dime in profit you made off it will be fine... Do ya need our account numbers?

hosts challenged her, so glad to see that others did.

Every dime in profits from that, and from all the gold.
