Being reported a few places, not sure of the veracity, but it's definitely more credible than anything that comes out of the White House. So take it with a grain of salt, but worth posting since anything Trump says you have to take with a quart of salt. Many people are saying this.

(28,347 posts)When I looked at the crowd, I wondered how many were paid to be there.
I tell you what, you couldn't pay me to be there.
No telling if the breakdown of that Tweet is true. Seems to me, he could've pulled in more than 1578, especially considering how red the area is. He's going to have to face the fact that he's lost his "charm".
Yet, even if all the 6116 were true MAGAts, that is an embarrassing low turnout. Good thing they placed that ad. This puts a nice big smile on my face.

(19,066 posts)I will say that being in a crowd it's really easy to overestimate its size. Been at events where it was announced that several hundred thousand people were there and then it turns out it was only 40,000. When you're inside a sea of people it's human nature to over estimate how many people are there. I'd bet anything waiting outside to get in the people were thinking it was going to be packed, "just look at everyone out here." Then they got inside and it was sparse at best. 6200 people in a 19,000 seat stadium looks empty. The entire upper bowl was empty. There were big empty sections in the lower bowl. The floor was 3/4s empty (That might have been by design for security).
It's no wonder they were bored and yawning, after all the hype to get seated and then wait for the arena to fill only to never have it happen has to be deflating. Love it.

You have to take things as a grain of salt unless otherwise verified.

(9,988 posts)The doctor described Trumps mental and physical deterioration as the most likely result of a stroke (remember that sudden trip to Walter Reed?). Here are Dr. Ebs words:
Trump has had a left middle cerebral infarction, a stroke, causing right sided weakness. I noticed this several months ago when he was filmed walking by the White House holding onto his wife on his right side, with her arm and shoulder supporting his weight. Watching him walk down the ramp at West Point he showed more obvious right sided weakness with "circumduction" of his right leg, that is, stepping forward bearing weight on the left and pulling the right up to and around the left. I would speculate that his visit to Walter Reed was for an MRI/MRA to help assess the damage to his brain and the state of the circulation to his left cerebral hemisphere. Assuming that he is right handed, damage to his left cerebral hemisphere would also affect his speech and his thinking.

(19,066 posts)First of all, it's a glass of cola, not water. Second of all, it's a very small glass. And 3rd, who hold a glass like that? His pinky was under the glass to keep it from slipping. Looks like he may have practiced the way to hold it. Most people don't need their pinky on the bottom of a glass to keep it from slipping out of their hand.
Look at his pinky finger underneath the glass starting at :20. That's not how anyone holds a small glass of water.

(12,165 posts)They needed to show butts-in-seats, and having staff there was a way to fill-in empty seats.
The problem was, they could not conceive that there would be such an anemic number of real attendees.

The entire fiasco at Tulsa was a tRump political stunt to distract America from the real issues of the day: a global pandemic, police abuse of power and BLM, climate change, poverty, his numerous crimes and thousands of evil actions by his administration.

(2,227 posts)But if these are actors, you'd think many would be out there admitting it, just for some face time on the internets.
Would they be required to sign NDAs? Hell, they would probably be on the internets admitting they had to sign NDAs...

Let them taste the bitters. "People are saying one 25% of attendees weren't paid to be there."
Period.
They clearly think "people are saying" is legit. Sauce for the goose.

The other side uses opinions as facts. And, it works for them. So, MY OPINION is that people are saying 75% of the attendees were paid!
