Kamala Harris just ethered Cornyn's soul.

Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan 20m
Harris from Senate floor: "I intend to vote against a motion to proceed tomorrow (on GOP police reform bill). I also intend to vote for a motion to proceed with real reform. I'm not against a motion to proceed. We should proceed. Let's proceed with action, not gestures."

...the AG, several congressmen, mayors of large cities. The republicans hold no statewide office, and their two most prominent congressmen are McCarthy and Nunes. lol Hell, the jackass in our logo could beat either of those two in a statewide race.

“To 'ether' someone," writes Son Raw, "means to completely dismantle them in a rap battle with no regard for petty concerns such as 'logic' or 'cleverness' – it's a giant shock-n-awe display of machismo meant to scar the victim for life and leave an unmistakable blemish on his career."

I hope the Democratic Party can finally be rid of him in 2021. I get to vote against him.
And in July we will see who wins are primary runoff.

scrutinized severely. Yes she would make a good VP, but the timing could not have been any worse. Biden would be taking a risk.

...and why would it make those same voters any less eager to vote for Joe Biden?

Here's the latest polling on the African American voter sentiment toward Kamala Harris:

African-Americans say they will be more enthusiastic about voting for Joe Biden if he selects an African-American woman as his running mate for vice president, according to a new survey conducted by Northwestern University’s Center for the Study of Diversity and Democracy (CSDD) (June 9).

The survey, conducted by Cloud Research/Prime Panels on behalf of the CSDD, showed that California Sen. Kamala Harris and former Georgia legislator Stacey Abrams are seen as favorites for the nomination.

Among the findings:

57% of the respondents said that they would be more enthusiastic about voting for Biden if he picks an African-American woman to be his running mate.

29% of the respondents prefer Harris for Biden’s running mate; 28% prefer Abrams; 24% prefer former national security advisor Susan Rice, and 20% prefer U.S. Rep. Val Demings of Florida

59% of the African-American women who responded to the survey said that they would be more enthusiastic about voting for Biden if he picks an African-American woman to be his running mate.

50% of African-American women respondents said that they are more likely to campaign for Biden if he selects an African-American woman versus 40% who said that they will campaign for him regardless of the outcome of the vice presidential search process.

but the GOP will make sure to highlight her pro-police stance in the wake of all the protest against police brutality. Frankly Biden may not have a better choice at the moment.

...when they're in a full embrace with police unions?

I must have missed the point where our party became anti-police, though.

Not so remarkable for the titular head of law enforcement in the largest state in the union to be 'pro-police.'

You hit the nail on the head.

They can’t attack her as “Pro Police” because that’ll make her more attractive to the anti-trump GOP-ers and turn more GOP votes to Biden.

I would love to see her on the ballot with Joe. I think she’d lock it up.

Also, I’d like to see her make Pence cry on the debate floor.

And independents love a pro police stance. She was so good taking down Cornyn. It was like child’s play for her. I wast her for VP.
