(13,225 posts)He was incredibly rude and very dismissive of Soledad. He kept shouting over her and suggested she put an Obama campaign sticker on her forehead.
He is a bully and is not going to impress the independent voters that Mitt needs. Furthermore he came across as very condescending to a female anchor. Does he act this way with male anchors and reporters? Because the 2 cases of really bad behavior that I have seen and heard about both involved women.

Sununu has two modes, and they are not on and off.
It is rude and ruder. It also begins to go stale fairly quickly, especially when he is reduced to lies and misdirection. Like now.
I actually thought that Mitchell did pretty well to stand up to that ass.

(2,650 posts)"We're Not Going to Let Our Campaign be Dictated by Fact-Checkers"
Friday, August 31, 2012
This week, a Romney pollster responded to several critical fact-checks of a campaign ad by saying "we're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers." Brooke talks to former New Hampshire governor and former White House Chief of Staff John Sununu about the ad and the institution of fact-checking.

Former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu this week nominated Mitt Romney for President at the Republican National Convention. We couldnt get anyone from the Romney campaign, so we called on him to give us his insight on whats going on.
JOHN SUNUNU: With all due respect to the quote, fact-checkers that have called that ad wrong, they dont know what theyre talking about. Let me explain to you why theyre wrong. That law was written specifically by a Republican Congress to make sure that a, a governor could not get waivers from the work component. President Clinton vetoed it twice over that provision that prohibited allowing anybody to grant waivers on the work component. The fact-checkers just dont know what theyre talking about...
BROOKE GLADSTONE: This is the problem when everyone has the right to their own facts.
JOHN SUNUNU: Maam, you werent involved you werent involved in writing the law. Rick Santorum was. You werent involved in writing the law. Speaker Gingrich was. You werent involved in fighting to make sure that a provision for waivers was not in the law. These people were, and they have attested to the fact, and the weasel wording that comes out of the President of the United States and NPR is not gonna change those facts. Ive enjoyed being on the air. Ive got to go to my next call.
BROOKE GLADSTONE: Why didnt the ad refer to waivers, rather than no longer having to work? Why not say what it is the President actually did?
JOHN SUNUNU: If you say that the ad is perfectly right with adding waivers, then youre acknowledging the fact that the President broke the law by granting waivers.
[OVERTALK]
BROOKE GLADSTONE: I think the ad is wrong.
JOHN SUNUNU: As, as usual, you, part of the liberal press that will cover this Presidents butt across the board, youre going to lose in November. But Ive enjoyed talking to you. Thank you...

(31,706 posts)Bishop Willard spelled it out in last night's video in clear terms. He only cares about the 47% that is stuck on stupid that will vote for him no matter what. Or so he thinks. I'd ramp that number back to 40% but it's still 50 millions people that he needs to keep on board and "energized". Goons like Sununu are sent out there for the sound bites that will later show up on faux noise, hate radio and wingnut websites to "buck up" the "base". The rushpublicans consider Mrs. Greenspan and anyone in the "mainstream media" with disdain and this is like a booster shot for the unhinged from all the other news about their candidate imploding...
