Dana Bash can kiss my ass. She just had Joni Ernst on for interview.
Within the first minute Ernst pulled out her military veteran status and mentioned it a few more times. Did Bash ask her, as a veteran, should Trump have protected American soldiers and retaliated against Putin for the bounty he put on their heads? Nope, not a mention.
But it did turn into a puff piece about her book.
Bring back Jake Tapper, Bash is a failure.
I'm so pissed I could spit.
Ernst is trending on social media right now for this........ it is very bad for her........
She can't brag about being pro military while permitting Trump to allow Putin to put a price on dead American soldiers.
I turned shows like that off. As far as Ernst goes, I think there is an excellent chance that we can get her out of there in November and good riddance.
Oh, I forget... our media has a special, exclusive contract to only host wingnut authoritarian conservative politicians on Sunday and holidays.
Bash asked a perfect question got a very stupid answer from Joni Ernst..

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) on Sunday bashed former President Barack Obamas handling of Ebola, a viral disease that two Americans died from, but praised President Trumps response to the coronavirus as cases surge in several cities.
When pressed by CNNs Dana Bash on Sunday morning about whether shed criticize Trump now that almost 130,000 Americans died from the coronavirus given how she criticized Obama during her Senate run in 2014 by accusing him of failed leadership on Ebola Ernst replied that we all have responsibility in stopping the spread before emphasizing the importance of mask-wearing and social distancing.
We all should do our part to make sure that we are protecting others as well. So this is a virus thats not going to go away soon, Ernst said. We want to make sure that we are watching this and doing everything that we can as a federal government, including the research and development of therapeutics and vaccinations to make sure that we are doing the right thing as a nation.
Asked whether the President is exhibiting failed leadership himself on coronavirus, Ernst denied the notion by arguing that he is stepping forward and pointing out that Vice President Mike Pence that is spearheading the task force efforts on the coronavirus.
